What do I want you to know about me?  That I have a daughter Rose, who was born in Vietnam and who has been with me since she was three months old.  That I lived for a dozen years in the Philippines - most of my twenties and thirties – where I learned about faith and community and sacrifice and war and peace and life and death.  That the hardest thing for me to comprehend is exclusivism in the name of Jesus.  I enjoy preaching and teaching.  I have learned and practice alternative healing modalities.  I have served small town, urban and metropolitan churches, and have learned that the spirit is a vital presence in every setting.  That I like to swim and play folk and bluegrass music.
